The movie tells the now familiar tale of Helen’s eloping with Paris, Prince of Troy and the war that ensued. Wolfgang Peterson has recreated the war wonderfully well and it makes for fantastic viewing. Brad Pitt is menacing as Achilles with his matter-of-fact approach to war and killing. His trasformation from a killing-machine to a human-being forms a major part of the movie.

To be honest, I was glad I went to see the movie.
