A true story based on the attempts by a producer for CBS’ 60 Minutes (Al Pacino) to bring to light how the tobacco industry tried to hide from the public the fact that they knew that cigarettes were addictive and did everything to ensure that it stayed that way. Russel Crowe plays the disgruntled employee of a top tobacco company who blows the lid on the story.

A compelling movie about staying honest to one’s profession and the obstacles thereof. Pacino and Crowe are outstanding.

A fantastic watch any day.
